Currently, my primary support system includes my family and close friends, who provide encouragement and motivation as I pursue my cybersecurity degree. Their constant reassurance helps me stay focused, especially during stressful times. Additionally, I benefit from the guidance of academic counselors at GCU, who help me stay on track with my coursework and future goals. GCU allows you to join academic-related clubs, join a study group, connect with classmates, and reach out to instructors. This can help increase your motivation and strengthen your connection to your program of study. If I ever find myself without a strong support network, I will try my best to form one that meets my academic and personal needs. This might involve organizing study groups with classmates, joining online student forums, or participating in cybersecurity-related professional organizations. I would also make an effort to keep open communication with professors since they are a valuable source of support and direction.
